From the CME FedWatch Tool on Aug 28, the probability of a fed funds interest cut at the next fed meeting on Sept 17 is up to 87.2% which is an almost certainty that they cut .25%. This helps explain the continued strength in the equity market as the S&P hit an all time highs yesterday and today.
